Lessons are available to those age 8 years and older. Instruction is offered for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riding levels. Lessons include no more than 3-5 riders at a time.  Lessons are held rain or shine as we have indoor facilities.  A strong foundation is taught to develop a strong, well balanced rider.  

 

• $45.00 group, $60.00 private (per lesson)

• Lessons are 1 hour in length. (Actual ride time is approx. 45 minutes). 

• Riders under 18 years old are required to wear a helmet while riding per Maryland Law.

• Once riding skills are apparent, lessons will vary depending with activities.  They can include riding skills, horsemanship, obstacles, trail riding, and more. 

• Cross training within disciplines is often used to promote a well rounded rider and use each horse's strengths and weaknesses to encourage our riders to be adaptable.

• Riders are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled lesson to assist in catching, grooming, and begin tacking their horse. 

 

**Any cancellations less than 24 prior to scheduled lesson time will be charged $15 cancellation fee.
