Riding Lessons
Riding lessons are for those 8 years old and older. Rusted Star Ranch provides instruction for all riding ability levels. Lessons are scheduled by appointment only. Each lesson includes horse husbandry with properly brushing, tacking, riding (30-45 min), brushing and untacking horse. Safety while working around and riding are always emphasized. Specific disciplines can be requested for lessons. Lessons average 1 hour in length.
Private Coaching
One on one instruction that focuses on good horsemanship while developing the rider's skill for success. Our instructors tailor coaching sessions to the goals of the individual rider and their riding discipline. Coaching sessions average 1 - 1.5 hours in length. Sessions are scheduled by appointment only. Rider's often haul in their own horse. Examples of coaching sessions include (but are not limited to):

Equine Training
From colt starting to fine tuning, training services are how Rusted Star Ranch become known. Providing over 18 years of experience, using patience, many natural horsemanship principles along with the understanding of how each horse progresses individually creates a solid foundation for developing a good riding horse. Training sessions are offered starting at 30 days.
Boarding
Staying long term or short term? Monthly boarding in addition to overnight boarding for those wishing to visit just for a night or two are available. Boarders have access to many of the ranch amenities. We are located 5 minutes from downtown Berlin which has a Berlin Farm Supply and Tractor Supply located in town.
Clinics & Events
Throughout the year, Rusted Star Ranch serves as a host site for many clinics and events. Professionals from outside the Delmarva Peninsula utilize Rusted Star facilities to help reach new audiences. Birthday Parties
Have a party with a western flavor! 2 hour party. Birthday parties include use of the main barn, unlimited pony rides for 1 hour (for up to 12 children), party activities, and plenty of parking. No worries on the weather as you will be at the farm in the barn!
